"Lo! the sacred Host we hail." Straight from the Tantum Ergo, the prayer and song we sing during Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Every Catholic has at one time battled with the reality that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist. We must all make the journey in our hearts to the altar on which this sacrificial truth resides. When we look upon what seems to be a single piece of bread, we must realize how fully our feeble senses fail us in understanding the depth of the mystery that is Jesus in the Eucharist.
